TropiRoots – Terms and Conditions
TropiRoots S.A.S. (hereinafter “TropiRoots,” “we,” “our”) provides users (hereinafter “you,” “your”) access to the services offered through the website https://tropiroots.com.co (hereinafter “the Site”). By using this Site, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
This document governs access, use, and the conditions under which visitors may access, use, and contract the products and services offered by TropiRoots through the Site, including import/export of Colombian Yam.
By entering, browsing, or using the Site’s services, you declare that you have the legal capacity to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must refrain from using the Site.
3.1 Some services may require you to provide information (name, email, phone, company, etc.).
3.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and access data.
3.3 You agree to immediately notify TropiRoots of any unauthorized use of your account.
4.1 You agree to use the Site in accordance with the law, morality, public order, and these terms.
4.2 You may not use the Site for illegal purposes, to share offensive or defamatory content, violate third-party rights, or infringe import/export regulations.
4.3 You will be responsible for any damage or harm caused by improper use.
5.1 TropiRoots markets and exports high-quality Colombian Yam, with packaging and logistics procedures in accordance with international standards.
5.2 Offered products are subject to availability, technical specifications, phytosanitary regulations, and international shipping conditions.
5.3 Published prices are indicative and may vary depending on quantities, transportation, insurance, tariffs, and destination.
5.4 TropiRoots reserves the right to modify commercial conditions, rates, or availability without prior notice.
6.1 Users may request a quote through the form or direct contact.
6.2 Once the order is approved, TropiRoots will send written confirmation with details of quantities, prices, delivery times, and transportation responsibilities.
6.3 Payment must be made as agreed (advance, deposit, letter of credit, or other methods).
6.4 In case of default, TropiRoots may suspend shipments or apply stipulated penalties.
7.1 The risk of products transfers to the buyer at the agreed delivery point (port, warehouse, or other).
7.2 TropiRoots is not responsible for international transport delays caused by customs authorities, inspections, strikes, pandemics, or other force majeure events.
8.1 TropiRoots guarantees that products meet established quality standards (see Quality section).
8.2 Claims for defects or non-compliance must be made in writing within a reasonable period after product receipt.
8.3 If a return or replacement is warranted, it will be coordinated according to agreements between the parties, always following phytosanitary regulations and international transport risks (the client bears return costs unless otherwise agreed).
8.4 Damages due to mishandling, external transport, improper storage, or extreme weather conditions are not covered by warranty.
9.1 The Site, its content, texts, images, design, logos, trademarks, and software are the property of TropiRoots or its licensors.
9.2 Copying, reproducing, distributing, modifying, or using these assets without express written authorization is prohibited.
10.1 Use of the Site implies acceptance of the Privacy Policy governing the processing of your personal data.
10.2 TropiRoots commits to protecting the confidentiality of data and not sharing it without authorization, except for legal obligations.
11.1 TropiRoots is not responsible for indirect damages, lost profits, or data loss resulting from the use of the Site or products sold.
11.2 In no event shall the total liability exceed the amount paid by the user for the specific order.
TropiRoots may modify these Terms and Conditions, in which case updated versions will be available on the Site with the date of the last update. Continued use of the Site implies acceptance of the modifications.
